MRS. CHARLES E. CUNNINGHAM
The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Marlin Rasmussen. The wedding march and incidental music were played by the bride's sister, Miss Joanne Crouse. Mrs. Martin Rasmussen sang several selections.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attractive in a gown of white sheer marquisette full skirt en train. The full length veil was caught with a crown of orange blossoms. She complemented her wedding dress with a shower bouquet of lily-of-the-valley and white gladioli.
Mrs. Carroll Armstrong, sister of the bride, as matron of honor, wore a full length gown of aqua jersey and carried a sheaf of yellow roses.
Llewellyn Woodman, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man.
Both Mrs. Crouse and Mrs. Cunningham, mothers of the bride and bridegroom, were attired in navy blue and complemented their gowns with corsages of gardenias.
Immediately after the ceremony refreshments were served to the guests after which the couple left for a short wedding trip.
The bride, who is a senior at Washington State Normal school, Machias, will return to her studies and be graduated June 16th.
The bridegroom will return to Lovell General hospital at Fort DeVens for further treatment of wounds received in action with the 100th Infantry Division in France.
