BECOMES BRIDE -- Miss Jean M. Hunter of Washburn became the bride of T-5 Anthony J. Dellavecchia of Greensburg, Pa., in a ceremony performed at the Presque Isle Army Air Base.

Miss Jean Hunter Of Washburn Weds In Presque Isle

Miss Jean M. Hunter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hunter of Washburn, became the bride of T-5 Anthony J. Dellavecchia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carmen Dellavecchia of Greensburg, Pa., in a double ring ceremony performed by the Army chaplain, June 5th [1945] at the Presque Isle Army Air Base chapel.

They were attended by T-4 and Mrs. John Kosinski.

The bride wore a white street-length dress with rose accessories. She wore a corsage of pink sweet peas.

The matron of honor wore green with green accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. Mrs. Hunter, mother of the bride, wore navy with white Accessories and a corsage of American beauty roses.

The bride was graduated from Washburn high school class of 1942 and attended Kents Hill Junior college the following year. Since June 1943 she has been employed by the hospital department of the Presque Isle Army Air Base as medical secretary.

T-5 Dellavecchia is graduated Greensburg high school class of 1940 and was employed in his hometown before being taken into the Army in December 1943. He is now stationed at the Presque Isle Army Air Base.
