The bride was gowned in a white silk jersey street length dress and wore white accessories. She carried a bridal bouquet of white asters and red roses.
Her attendant was Miss Wanie Davenport of Limestone, a former classmate. She was attired in a pink dress with black accessories. Her arm bouquet was of purple asters. Herbert A. Roach was his brother's best man.
Mrs. Kinney, mother of the bride, wore black and complimented her gown with a corsage of mixed flowers. The bridegroom's mother was attired in a dress of soldier blue and her corsage was also of mixed garden flowers.
Mrs. Roach is a graduate of Houlton high school and Aroostook State Normal school for the past year she has taught English at Caribou high school.
Mr. Roach is a graduate of Merrill high school and the University of Maine. He is a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He is engaged in farming with his father and is employed by the Division of Markets.
After the ceremony a luncheon was served by Mrs. Lester Baker. Mrs. Roach chose as her going away costume a black and white suit with white accessories. She wore a corsage of red roses. After a wedding trip through Maine and Massachusetts, the bride and bridegroom will be at home at their cottage at Pleasant Pond, Island Falls.
