
Miss Phyllis Allyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Allyn of 8 Prospect Street, Caribou, became the bride of Lieutenant Lynn W. May, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence W. May of Bronson, Michigan in a simple ceremony last Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at the parsonage of the Church of England of Andover, N. B. The double ring ceremony was performed by L. E. Hawkes, Priest of the Church of England. The couple was attended by Lieutenant George R. Hunter, Jr., of Rudy Road, Harrisburg, Penn., a friend of the bridegroom, and Miss Mary E. McConnell of Portage, Maine.
The bride was graduated from Caribou High School and received her B. S. degree from Farmington State Normal School in 1941. She taught two years at Washburn High School and for the past two years has been oHme Economics Instructor at Presque Isle High School. Lieutenant May was graduated from Bronson High School and from Fort Wayne Business College. He was employed by the International Harvester Company of Fort Wayne, Ind., for two wwears before entering the service and for the past three years he has been in the Army Air Forces.
