Miss Gertrude Alice Patton, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Bernard R. The bride wore white silk jersey and net and she carried a white Bible with pompom flowers attached to the ribbon streamers.

Mrs. John Blalack, sister of the bride, Mrs. Mont Turner, and Miss Margaret Lovely, sisters of the bridegroom were in attendance.

Mrs. Blalack wore blue marquisette and her shoulder corsage was of pink gladioli, Mrs. Turner was gowned in pink net and her corsage was of yellow and white pompoms while Miss Lovely wore blue net and complemented her gown with a corsage of ping gladioli.

Loomis Lovlet, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man.

Mont Turner and Coleman Brown were ushers.

Ruth Patton, sister of the bride was flower girl. She was gowned in pink and wore a matching veil.

Gladys Turner, niece of the bridegroom, dressed in blue with matching veil, was the ring-bearer. Both wore corsages of white pompoms. Mrs. Alice Bridges, aunt of the bride, of Brockton, Mass., played the wedding march and accompanied Miss Idella Kelly and Miss Ruby Knox, friends of the bride, who sang, I Love You Truly.

The church was beautifully decorated, an arch of green cedar and white roses predominating. The front of the church was decorated with flowers and candles, each window contained a candle and the effect was most impressive.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents.
