Manzer-Chase Nuptials Held

WASHBURN, June 11 [1946] -- The marriage of Mrs. Ida Chase of Caribou and Archie Manzer of Washburn took place Wednesday May 29, at the Methodist parsonage, Perth, N. B., with the Rev. Frederick Gay, officiating at a double ring ceremony. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Jacobson, of New Sweden, sister and brother-in-law of the bride.

Mrs. Manzer wore an olive green wool suit with white accessories and a corsage of mixed sweet peas. Mrs. Jacobson's corsage was also of sweet peas. She wore a black suit with white accessories.

After a brief trip they returned to Washburn, where Mr. Manzer is engaged in a garage business.

Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Manzer held open house which was attended by a large group of friends and relatives. A purse of money was among the many gifts presented. Refreshments were served.
