ENGAGEMENT -- Mr. and Mrs. Herbert G. Easler of Washburn announce the engagement of their daughter, Glenice, to Clayton A. Southard, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Southard, 29 Blake street, Presque Isle.

Miss Easler is a graduate of Washburn high school and attended Ricker Junior college and the University of Maine.

Mr. Southard is a graduate of Presque Isle high school. He served three years in the U. S. Army and part of this time in the Pacific area.

The wedding will be numbered among the fall bridals.
