WED 50 YEARS---Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Nickerson of Washburn recently celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary with a family reunion at their home.

WASHBURN, Oct. 2 [1946] -- Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Nickerson of Washburn recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home by holding a family reunion, with all of their children present. They were presented with a purse of money and received congratulations and cards from many.

The couple came here from Canada in 1919 and have since made their home in this vicinity where Mr. Nickerson was engaged in farming. They both attend the Pentecostal church and are the parents of eight children. All of whom are living.
