RECENTLY ENGAGED -- Mavis Chase, formerly of Caribou, whose engagement to Robert K. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Brown of Washburn, was announced by Mr. and Mrs. Archie Manzer of Washburn. She is Mrs. Manzer's only daughter. She is a graduate of Caribou high school and is now employed in Washburn. Mr. Brown graduated from Washburn high school and is a veteran of the war.
