Washburn Girl Recent Bride Of Presque Isle Vet

PRESQUE ISLE, Dec. 1 [1946] --Miss Beryl Jean Churchill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, John Churchill of Washburn, became the bride of Gerald Winston Clark son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Clark, recently at a candlelight ceremony in the Congregational parsonage at Ashland. The double ring service was read by the Rev. William G. Barnet.

They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reed of Ashland.

The bride wore a grene suit with brown accessories and a corsage of yellow roses.

Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Clark left on a wedding trip to Boston and are now residing at 18 Park street, Presque Isle.

Mrs. Clark is a graduate of Washburn high school and has been employed by the telephone company in Presque Isle.

Mr. Clark is a graduate of Presque Isle high school and attended the Bangor Maine School of Commerce. Before entering the service he was employed by the War Department at Washington, D. C. In January, 1945 he received his honorable discharge. He is engaged in farming.
