Miss McDonald is a graduate of Washburn high school and is now employed at the Presque Isle Army Air Field, in the ordnance department.
Capt. Ryan is a graduate of Oak Park high school and New York University. He also attended the University of Illinois and plans to continue his studies there after his discharge. Capt. Ryan is now stationed in Greenland.
No date has been set for the wedding.
