Mrs. William Sadler at the organ played traditional wedding music. Mrs. Hattie Brooks sang.
The couple was attended by Miss Doreen Watters, sister of the bride and Lloyd Duncan.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin and net en train. Her finger-tip veil was held in place by orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and white sweet peas.
The bridesmaid wore a medium blue crepe gown with bouquet of pink carnations.
A reception was held immediately after the ceremony. Mrs. Susie Edgar had charge of refreshments. Miss Anna Watters cut and served the wedding cake.
The bride was graduated from Plaster Rock high school. The bridegroom is a graduate of the
local high school and is engaged in farming with his father.
After a short wedding trip the couple will reside in Washburn.
