ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED -- Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rouse of Washburn announce the engagement of their youngest daughter, Chelsia Winnifred to Bernard H. Gray PhM l-c U. S. N. R., son of Olin C. Gray, South Penobscot.

Miss Rouse is a graduate of Washburn high school and Husson college, class of '47. During her senior year at Husson she was president, of Phi Rho Zeta sorority and the Student Council. She was a delegate to the National Convention of Phi Rho Zeta held at Elkhart, Ind., in June. She has accepted a position as an instructor of commercial subjects at Bucksport high school for the coming year.

Mr. Gray was graduated from Clark high school, Penobscot. He attended Gilman Commercial school and Husson collage. He served 44 months in the United States Navy, 11 of which were spent in the South Pacific. At present he is on active duty with the local Naval Reserve Unit. No date has been set for the wedding.
