The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attractively gowned in ivory chiffon velvet with high neckline and wore a string of pearls. Her long train cascaded from the waist in folds lined with Spanish lace. The sleeves formed points over her hands. Her veil was of finger-tip length of tulle illusion with a wide appliqued border of Spanish lace. Her bridal bouquet was of white star lilies.
Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Mrs. Cyril Tattersail, gowned in floor-length forest green chiffon velvet.
OTHER ATTENDANTS
Bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Miss Lena Litton and Miss Lillian Baird. They wore ballerina-length chiffon velvet gowns of Rio fuschia and glory blue, respectively. The attendants carried matching velvet muffs and roses with matching head dress. The flower girl, Dawn Linton, cousin of the bride, wore a floor-length dress of delphinium blue chiffon velvet and carried a matching muff covered with pansies and a matching velvet headband. Ring bearer was Lance Linton Lewis.
The bride's mother wore a black satin gown with peplum and long black gloves, gold sequined trimmed. She also wore a corsage of tea roses. Mrs. Manzer wore a black suit with pink accessories and a corsage of roses.
Perry Manzer, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Ushers were Cyril Tattersail and Murchie R. Wright. The church was beautifully decorated with autumn leaves. Milton Lewis played two violin solos with Mrs. A. F. MacIntosh accompanist. Mrs. Neil McLean sang.
RECEPTION HELD
Following the ceremony a reception was held at Ann's hotel for 125 guests. Mrs. Randolph Jamer had charge of the guest book. Mrs. F. A. Lewis and Mrs. C. V. Armstrong served. Miss Viola Turner and Mrs. Ralph Dick poured. Miss Pauline Lewis and Miss Ruth McGuirr served the bride's table, and those assisting were Mrs. J. Sebine, Mrs. L. Chantler, Miss Kaye Wright and Miss Marlene Jamer.
The couple left by car for a wedding car through New Brunswick and the New England states. The bride wore for traveling a brown gabardine suit with matching accessories.
