Grace Churchill Wed In Washburn

WASHBURN, Feb. 13 [1948] -- Miss Grace Churchill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Churchill of Washburn became the bride of Maurice Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Parker of Woodland in a ceremony performed Thursday evening at 7 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. Renhard Sand performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride wore white satin with fingertip veil and carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations. Janice Deeves, her bridesmaid, wore a peach gown and carried a colonial bouquet of yellow carnations.

The bridegroom was attended by Herbert Richardson.

Marie Churchill, sister of the bride, and Pearl Parker, sister of the bridegroom, had charge of the gift table at a reception held after the ceremony. Phyllis Allen, a cousin of the bride, had charge of the gift book.

Mr. and Mrs. Parker left on a wedding trip immediately after the ceremony. They will make their home in Carson.
