The finger tip veil was caught with a beaded crescent-shaped tiara. She carried a colonial bouquet with white satin streamers.
The maid of honor was Marilyn Flewelling; sister of the bride. She wore a gown of pink moire crepe with pink net over skirt and carried a colonial bouquet of pink and white carnations with pink and white streamers.
The best man was Vernon Sawyer of Mapleton. The ushers were Kenneth Flewelling, brother of the bride, and Edrick Flewelling, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Janice Clark, who wore a short dress of yellow organdy. Patty Fornier, dressed in white dotted Swiss, and David DeVoe, in white flannels and navy blue jacket, were the ring bearers.
The bride's mother wore a navy blue dress with navy blue and white accessories and the mother of the bridegroom wore a navy blue and white print dress with black accessories.
Each wore corsages of red tulips.
The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents where about two hundred guests were present.
Mrs. Johnson is a graduate of Washburn high school and attended Washington State Normal school in Machias.
Mr. Johnson attended Washburn high school and served three years and nine months in the Army Air Force. He is now employed as tele-type operator at the Presque Isle Air Base. After a short trip the couple will reside in Crouseville.
