Dr. Betty Carlin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Price of Washburn, has just completed her internship at the Deaconess Evangelical hospital in St, Louis, Mo. At present she is affiliated with the pathology department of Barnes hospital in St. Louis in cancer research, and will spend some time in Washington, D. C., at the Army Institute.
She was graduated from the University of Maine with high honors in 1943 and later received her M. D. degree from the Yale School of Medicine. While at Yale she was married to Dr. Richard Carlin of New York, a classmate who is now serving his internship at Barnes hospital, specializing in surgery.
