MARRIED 56 YEARS -- Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Jardine of Washburn will celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary Friday, which will also be Mr. Jardine's 78th birthday. Mrs. Jardine is the former Margaret Mooers of Lower Southampton, N. B. They were married April 15, 1993, in Washburn, The Rev. Robert Patten officiating. They have always lived in Washburn, and have been members of the Methodist church for more than half a century. All eight of their children are living, and they have ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
