West Patten Girl Weds Washburn Man

PATTEN, April 21 [1949] -- Miss Louise Campbell daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Campbell of West Patten became the bride of Harold Marr of Washburn, son of Mrs. Edna Marr of Meriden, Conn., in a ceremony performed recently at the home of Justine Vivian H. Grant. Mr. Grant read the double-ring service.

The bride's costume was a street length gown of navy blue Bemberg sheer. With it she wore white accessories and complemented it with a gardenia corsage. The bride and bridegroom were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Chester Richardson, Jr. Mrs. Richardson wore a street length gown of blue silk crepe, her accessories were black, and her corsage was red roses.

Mrs. Marr attended Patten academy and has been employed in the Patten Coffee shoppe.

Mr. Marr for the past year has been employed by Francis W. Peavey driving one of his taxis.

Immediately following the wedding ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Marr left on a wedding trip. Upon their return they will be at home on Pleasant street where they have taken an apartment at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack McKenzie.
