BRIDE-TO-BE -- Mrs. Joseph Pooler of Washburn announces the engagement of her daughter, Ruth Nioma, to Hanford P. Duncan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Duncan of Washburn. Miss Pooler is a graduate of Washburn high school and of Washington State Normal school in the class of 1948. At present, she is teaching in the Washburn village school. Mr. Duncan is a graduate of Washburn high school and served wit the 9th Air Force during World War II. At present he is engaged in farming. No date has been set for the wedding.
