ENGAGED -- Mr. and Mrs. Abram Crouse of Crouseville, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Joanne, to Cpl. John E. Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Laurel W. Thompson of Washburn. Miss Crouse is a member of the senior class of Washburn high school. Cpl. Thompson was graduated from Washburn high school and attended Colby college. He is serving in the United States Air Force and is stationed in Waco, Tex. A summer wedding is planned.
