BETROTHED -- Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Pettengill, Houlton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne M., to Thomas H. Flanagan, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Flanagan, Sr., 56 Wiley street, Bangor. Miss Pettengill was graduated from Caribou high school and Husson college. Since then she has been employed as secretary at Farrar Furniture company, Bangor. Flanagan was graduated from Bangor high school, served two years in the Armed Forces, graduated from Husson college and is now employed by the Merrill Trust company, Bangor. No date has been set for the wedding.
