The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Read Blackstone, uncle of the bridegroom.
The bride wore a navy blue suit with white accessories and a corsage of gladioli.
The couple was attended by Mrs. Wilda Silver, sister of the bride-groom, and Kenneth Fox, cousin of the bridegroom.
The maid of honor wore a navy blue suit with tan accessories and yellow carnations.
Mrs. Silver is a graduate of Caribou High school in the class of 1950.
Mr. Silver was graduated from Washburn high school in 1944 and from School of Commerce in Presque Isle this spring. He served in the U. S. Army.
RECEPTION
A reception followed the wedding ceremony at the home of the bride-groom.
Miss Betty McConnell was in charge of the guest book.
Mrs. Ardrith McIntire cut the wedding cake.
The servers were Miss Patricia McIntire, Miss Annella Tupper, Miss Alice Sperrey and Miss Joyce Nutting.
Mrs. Helen Mills, sister-in-law of the bride, and Miss Ramona Bondeson, classmate of the bride, were at the gift table.
Following the reception the bridal couple left for a trip through Canada and New York.
They will reside in Wade.
