The bridal couple was attended by Miss Kay Smith, her sister, and Robert Sperry.
The bride wore a two-piece dress of brocaded satin with fitted waist and tiny buttons and three-quarter length sleeves. She wore a black velvet hat and black accessories and had a corsage of white carnations.
Miss Kay Smith wore a toast taffeta dress with dark brown velvet hat and matching accessories and her corsage was of yellow gladioli.
After the ceremony the bridal couple was honored at a supper given at the home of the bride's parents. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Sands and daughter, Cynthia, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Hallett, Caribou; Mr. and Mrs. Edrick Flewelling, Crouseville; Miss Mona Smith, Miss Kay Smith, Robert Sperry and the bride's parents.
A reception was held later at the home of the bridegroom's uncle, Harvey Alieff, with approximately 100 guests attending. At the gift table was Miss Phyllis Alieff, while Miss Mona Smith was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Lawrence Michaud presided at the punch bowl.
For traveling the bride chose a gray gabardine suit with pink blouse and black accessories. Her corsage was of pink carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Goding left on a wedding trip to Massachusetts and will reside in Worcester, Mass.
The couple received many gifts. Miss Phyllis Alieff was in charge of the gift table.
Miss Mona Smith of Washburn, sister of the bride, was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Lawrence Michaud served punch. A decorated bride's cake made by Mrs. Joseph Conley, was cut and served.
The bride's cake was made by the aunt of the bride-to-be, Mrs. Ruby Hallett of Caribou, who also served and she was assisted in serving by Mrs. Vesta Thompson, Mrs. Ella Flanagan, Mrs. Elsie Smith, Mrs. Constance Crouse, Mrs. Evelyn Flewelling, Mrs. Pauline Helstrom.
