MRS. LLOYD DUNCAN
The Rev. William D. Powell performed the double-ring service. Incidental music was played by Mrs. Philip Magill and Miss Norma Forbes sang "Because."
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown, of white slipper satin with a yolk and peplum of white French val lace, matching white satin mitts and finger-top veil. She carried a bridal bouquet of white gladioli.
Best man was Malcolm Higgins of Mapleton.
The bride's mother wore a brown suit and a corsage of bronze mums. The bridegroom's mother wore a navy blue figured dress of georgette crepe and her corsage was of red roses.
A reception followed with arrangements of fall flowers throughout the house. Centering the bridal table was a three-tiered wedding cake made by the bride's aunt, Mrs. Eric Hopper and Mrs. Bert Swan. The cake was cut and served by Miss Isabol McIntosh and Mrs. Kenneth Ewing. Miss Mary Etta Hopper, sister of the bride, was in charge of the guest book.
LEAVE ON TRIP
Mr. and Mrs. Duncan left on a wedding trip to St..John, N. B. The bride chose for traveling a wine gabardine suit with black accessories and grey topper.
Mrs. Duncan was graduated from Caribou high school and attended Farmington State Teachers college two years.
Mr. Duncan was graduated from Washburn high school and served two years in the navy. He is now employed at the Birdseye Snider plant in Caribou.
Mr. and Mrs. Duncan will reside on Collins street, Caribou.
Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. George H. Leeman of Lewisville, N. B., Mrs. Ralph Leeman of Salisbury, N. B., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huckman and daughter, Judith, of Sussex,:N. B., Mr. and Mrs. Eric Hopper and daughter, Colleen, and Mrs. Bert Swan of Millinocket; Mrs. Phyllis Cummings, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Currie of Houlton.
