Phoebe Nadeau Married Recently

NEW SWEDEN -- Miss Phoebe Nadeau, daughter of Harry H. Nadeau of Woodland and the late Lydia Nadeau and Arthur Berglind, son of Mr. and Mrs, John R. Berglind, of New Sweden were united in marriage December 23 at the parsonage of the Baptist church in Perth, N. B Rev. Hamilton officiated at the service.

They were given a reception on Friday evening at the home of the bridegroom's parents. A short program was presented, with Rev. C. E. Lindahl and Mrs. Walter Hedman taking part and group singing.

Miss Lois Johnson and Miss Kay Peterson received the guests. Miss Pearl Barnum of Woodland had charge of the guest book and Miss Kathleen Norberg and Mrs. Carl Sandstrom Jr. presided over the gift table.

Refreshments were served including a lovely decorated wedding cake made by the bridegroom's mother, and cut by his aunt, Mrs. Freda Lind of Stockholm. It was served by Miss Betty Barnum and Miss Mary Lou Nelson.

Mr. and Mrs. Berglind will make their home in Washburn where he is employed by the W. L. Berce Company.
