ENGAGED -- Mr. and Mrs. Tom Peterson of Washburn announce the engagement of their daughter Dathaline, to Vaughn Brewer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brewer of Washburn. Miss Paterson is a graduate of Washburn High school and Aroostook State Normal school, class of 1950. At present she is teaching at the Sincock school in Caribou. Mr. Brewer is a graduate of Washburn High school and served a year and a half in the armed forces. He is now employed by Maine Public Service company in Caribou. No date has been set for the wedding.
