Glenice Cain Weds Frank McCormick

An early June wedding took place last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude T. Lovley, of State Road, when their daughter, Glenice Cain, became the bride of S/Sgt. Frank R, McCormick of Miami, Florida.

The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Herman Grant of the Presque Isle Methodist Church.

The bride was attractively attired in navy and white and wore a corsage of sweet peas and bridal wreath. Mrs. Vaughn Smitih, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and wore a dress of grey and red printed nylon with a corsage of red roses.

Vaughn Smith was best man.

The bride's mother wore a dress of nylon print complemented with a corsage af red roscs. The living room was decorated for the wedding with vases of pink gladioli and white snap-dragons. A beautiful wedding cake topped by a miniature bride and groom was made by the bride's sister. After the ceremony and traditidnal cutting of the cake refreshments were served and the couple left by car for a few days trip to Quebec City, Canada.

Mrs. McCormick is a graduate of Aroostook State Normal School and a teacher of the 4th grade in Easton.

Sergeant McCormick is a graduate of Dickinson High School of Jersey City, N. J., and on June 21st will have completed four years in the service after which the couple plan to leave for Miami, Florida where hey will make their home.
