ENGAGED -- Mr. and Mrs. Ervin J. Barnes of Washburn have announced the engagement of their daughter, Dawn M., above, to Rev. James E. Peters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elden R. Peters of Bangor. Miss Barnes is a graduate of Washburn high school, class of 1951, and attended Zion Bible Institute in East Providence, R. I. Mr. Peters is a graduate of Bangor high school, class of 1949, and Zion Bible Institute, class of 1952. He has accepted a pastorate in mid-western New York. A late August wedding is planned.
