MRS. RICHARD V COTE
Mrs. Thomas C. Bouchard played the wedding music, and the soloist, Mrs. Eva Lapointe, sang an Ave Maria, and an Ecce Panis.
The bride, given in marriage by her cousin Joseph L. Bouchard, was lovely in a ballerina length gown of white satin with double net skirt and lace apron. Her heart shaped lace bodice had pointed sleeves, and her finger-tip veil of white nylon net was attached to a Juliet cap of seed pearls.
She carried a prayer book opened with a bouquet of white and red roses tied with satin streamers.
Miss Dolores Nadeau, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, chose a ballerina-length dress of yellow net over taffeta, short gloves and a headdress of seed pearls. Her colonial bouquet was of yellow and white roses.
Mrs. Catherine Corey and Miss Jean Plourde as bridesmaids, wore contrasting ballerina-length gowns of pink net over taffeta, and blue net aver taffeta, fashioned with nylon net stoles. Each wore a tiara of seed pearls and short gloves, and carried colonial bouquets of carnations and red roses.
FLOWER GIRL
Amelia Ann Doak, as flower girl, wore an ankle-length white taffeta dress and a crown of roses as a headdress. Her brother, Robert, was the ring bearer.
The mother of the bride wore a tan suit with white accessories and a corsage of white rose buds.
The mother of the bridegroom chose a tan and white check suit with white and brown accessories and her corsage was of white rose buds.
Sheldon Cote, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and the ushers were Sgt. Ames Desjardins and Sgt. Gerard Derosiers both from the Limestone Air Force Base.
A breakfast was served to the bridal couple, attendants and relatives at the Vaughan House after the ceremony. A reception was held in the evening in the V. F. W. hall attended by more than 100 persons.
The bride and bridegroom left on a wedding trip to the White Mountains and New York and on their return will reside in Washburn.
The bride chose for traveling a grey suit with white accessories, complementing her ensemble with a corsage of yellow roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Cote attended schools in their respective home towns. He is now employed by the town of Limestone.
