The bride wore a blue and white taffeta street length dress with red accessories and complemented her costume with a red corsage. Miss June Booker, classmate of the bride, and William Anderson of Caribou were the attendants.
The bride attended the Washburn schools and the bridegroom is a graduate of Caribou high school and has served in the U. S. Marines. The couple is residing at 1 Bridge street in Washburn.
A reception was tendered the couple by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wilcox at the local theater. A social evening was spent, preceded by a movie. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Gordon Wilcox, Mrs. Marjorie Lovely, Mrs. Stacy Meister and the Misses Arlene Brown, June Brooker, May Ekman, June Ekman and Kay Doody. The guest book was in charge of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Merman Parker of Presque Isle, and the gift table was presided over by the Misses June Ekman and Arlene Brown.
