Mrs. Wilmont Churchill, organist, played traditional wedding music preceding the ceremony and accompanied Ronald Dow, soloist, who sang "The Lord's Prayer", ''God Gave Me You", and "With This Ring, I Thee Wed".
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Wesley Stuart, pastor. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white acetate satin and imported chantilly lace fashioned with a full skirt and cathedral-length train and chantilly lace bodice with Queen Anne collar and pointed sleeves. Vertical bands of lace and satin extended to the hem of the skirt. Her fingertip veil of bridal illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls and imitation orange blossoms. She carried a white Bible topped with a white glamelia and glamelia satin streamers.
Miss Lois Learnard, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a red taffeta ballerina-length gown with an insert of white net at the bodice and a succession of white net ruffles

maid of honor. They also carried colonial bouquet of red and white carnations and matching hairlets.
Robert Plissey, brother of the bride, was best man and ushers were Dwight Sewell, cousin of the bride, and Nathaniel Churchill.
Mrs. Plissey, mother of the bride, wore a charcoal suit with red and white accessories and her corsage was red and white shattered carnations.
Mrs. Platt, mother of the bridegroom, wore a grey lace gown with pink accessories and her corsage was of white shattered carnations.
The maternal grandmother of the bride. Mrs. Mary Chapman, wore a teal silk dress with
matching accessories and her corsage was of yellow poms.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church dining room. Decoctions were of white chrysanthemums and a centerpiece of yellow poms was used on the refreshment table.
Miss Ann Chapman, aunt of the bride, circulated the guest book and Miss Jane Mitchell, college friend of the bride, presided at the gift table. Mrs. Tom Sewell, aunt of the bride, dipped
punch and assisting at the refreshment table were the Misses Patricia Plissey, Charlene and
Nancy Plissey, cousins of the bride, and Bonnie, sister of the bride. Mrs. Douglas Chapman,
aunt of the bride, cut and served the bride's cake after the traditional first slice had been cut by
the bridal couple.
The bride chose as her traveling ensemble a rust colored suit with fur trim and beige accessories. Her corsage was a white glamelia. The couple will make their home In Boston.
Mrs. Plan is a graduate of Washburn High school and the University of Maine and is employed as secretary at the American Automobile association in Boston.
Mr. Platt is a graduate of English High school, Burdett Business college, and recently graduated from the Airlines Training school in Boston. He is employed at a welding concern in Boston.
