
OLD TOWN BRIDE -- Mrs. Alfred J. Martin was Miss Hope I. Sherwood before her marriage Saturday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Old Town.
Mrs. Ernest L. Litchfield, organist, played the wedding music and Miss Marguerite Littlefield was soloist.
The bride was attired in a blue crystalette dress with pink accessories and corsage of pink roses. Attending as maid of honor, Miss Gloria Burke, wore a pink crystalette dress with matching accessories and a corsage of yellow roses.
Attending the bridegroom as best man was Raymond Martin and ushers were Roland LaPlante of Old Town and Franklin Martin of Bangor.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in Better Youth Club hall on Treat and Webster Island.
The couple left by motor on a short wedding trip. On their return they will make their home at 29 Union Street, Old Town.
The bride was graduated from Washburn High School and Husson College and is now employed as pay roll clerk for the Brewer Manufacturing Company in Old Town.
The bridegroom received his education in Old Town schools and is employed by the Brewer Manufacturing Company in Old Town.
