ENGAGED -- Mr. and Mrs. Murray Allen, Sr., of Washburn have announced the engagement of their niece, June E. Allen, above, to Dan Crawford of Waterville. Miss Allen is a 1953 graduate of Washburn high school and is employed by Allen's Transfer in Augusta. Crawford attended Winslow and Waterville schools and is presently stationed at Fort Meade, Md. He will complete his Army service in January. The wedding is planned February 21.
