A reception was held at the home of Mrs. Mina Carman, grandmother of the bride, June 28. Miss Maxine Carman had charge of the guest book and Mrs. Maurice Parker presided at the gift table.
A three-tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom was made by Mrs. Ada Cameron of Woodland, aunt of the bride. After the first slice had been cut by the couple, it was cut by Mrs. Clayton Corey and served by Miss Janice Easler. Mrs. Herman Carman and Mrs. Minnie Parker presided at the refreshment table.
The couple left after the reception for Lagrange.

The bride attended Washburn schools and has been employed at Taterstate, Inc., of Washburn. The bridegroom attended the Presque Isle schools and is employed in Presque Isle.
