
The candlelight ceremony was performed by the Rev. Gerald Flewelling using the double ring service. Decora~ions were candelabra and bouquets of white and yellow gladioli.
Mrs. Llewellyn Jones and Miss Laurie Bull were organists, and Jasper D. Bull of Belfast brother of the bride, was soloist. His selections were "I Walk Beside You" and "The Lord's Prayer."
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gown of embroidered organdy, featuring short sleeves a fitted bodice, a scalloped neckline and a bouffant skirt. Her short tulle veil was attached to a lace cap decorated with seed pearls. She carried white and blue marguerites.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Donald Additon of Orono, wearing a powder blue street length dress of embroidered polished cotton styled with short sleeves, a straight sabrina neckline; a white cummerbund. Her accessories were white gloves and shoes and a headpiece that matched the dress.
Acting as bridesmaids were Miss Sonja Bull of Presque Isle, niece of the bride, and Miss Catherine Duncan of Washburn. Their dresses were like the matron of honor's, and they carried yellow marguerites.
Lloyd Dickinson of Washburn, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, acted as best man and ushers
were Ray Dahlgren and Robert Thompson, both of Washburn.
The bride's mother was dressed in gray print silk with a toned gray hat and white accessories.
The bridegroom's mother wore a navy blue dress. They both had corsages of pastel gladioli.
A reception was held at the Mission Building following the ceremony. Decorations were an assortment of yellow and white flowers. Mrs. John McCuen of East Greenwich, R. I., sister of the bride, was hostess. The guest book was circulated by Mrs. Harry Bell of Westbrook, sister of the bride: and in charge of the gift table were Mrs. Ralph Prince and Mrs. Kenneth Covey, both of Washburn, and. Mr. David Flewelling of Troy, N. Y.
The wedding cake was served by Mrs. Leroy Dickinson, and assisting in serving were Miss Laurie Bull and Miss Linda Bull both of Presque Isle.
The couple left by car on a trip to the Maritime Provinces. The bride wore for traveling a pink linen suit with a checked jacket and white accessories, including a corsage of poms.
They will be at home at 77 Atwood Street, Newtonville,: Mass., after September 1.
The bride graduated from Washburn High School and the University of Maine. She is a public school teacher in Newtonville, Mass.
The bridegroom graduated from Washburn High School and served two years with the Army in
Germany. Formerly employed as a sub-contractor in Hartford, Conn., he plans to enter Wentworth Institute in Boston in September.
