Shoaff-Churchill Wedding Held In Quaker State

Charles C. Shoaff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Shoaff, Sr., of Shippenville.

The bride wore a. ballerina length gown of Chantilly lace over satin designed with a fitted bodice and long, tapered sleeves ending in widows peaks at the wrists. Her fingertip veil of net and lace fell from a headpiece of seed pearls and sequins. She carried a white pearl Bible centered with a white orchid and satin streamers.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Wendell Shoaff, Jr. She wore a gown of blue nylon chiffon over net with matching accessories and carried a colonial bouquet of white and pink carnations.

Wendell Shoaff, Jr., brother of the bridegroom was best man.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served at the bridegroom's home and a reception was given that evening. The home was decorated in keeping with the Christmas season.

The couple left by car on a wedding trip to Akron, Ohio. The bride wore a light blue wool dress with matching accessories and a white orchid corsage.

Mrs. Shoaff is a graduate of Washburn High School in the class of 1955. The bridegroom graduated from Shippenville High School and is stationed at Paris, France.. Serving with the U. S. Air Force.
