Miss Shirley Rand Becomes Bride Of James Plissey, Jr.

WASHBURN, March 7 [1958] -- Miss Shirley Rand, daughter of Mrs. Lucy Rand and the late Wallace Rand, and James Plissey, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Plissey, both of Washburn, were married Saturday, March 1, at the Reformed Baptist Church in Presque Isle, with the Rev. H. O. McGeorge officiating at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride's sister, Miss Margaret Rand, and the bridegroom's cousin, LeRoy Turner, attended the couple.

The bride wore a street-length dress of rose silk, with white accessories and a corsage of white shattered carnations.

The bridal couple will make their home with the bridegroom's parents on the Caribou road.
