The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Franklin MacKerron, pastor.
Traditional wedding music was played by Mrs. Franklin MacKerron. Andy Travis sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "I Love You Truly."
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white lace and seed panels over taffeta. She carried a bride's Bible covered with a corsage of white roses with satin streamers. Her fingertip veil hung from a sweetheart crown of sequins which matched the lace sequin bodice of her gown.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Ronald Clair. She wore a dress of aqua flowered nylon with white gloves and picture hat. She carried a cascade bouquet of white poms with aqua blue ribbon.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Doris Carroll and Mrs. Myrtle Spencer, sisters of the bride. Miss Judy Walton was junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Miss Glenna Lee Walton, Miss Debbie Lynn Carroll.
Gerald Conley, brother of the bridegroom was best man. Ushers were George Tompkins and Gerald Tompkins. James Carroll was ring bearer.
A reception was held in the church chapel. Mrs. Ruth Dunakin circulated the guest book. Mrs. Hannah Roberts and Miss Deleen Smith were in charge of the gift table.
Mrs. Avis Woods presided over the punch bowl. Assisting in serving were Mrs. Ada Tracy and Mrs. Marion Johnson. The wedding cake was cut by Mrs. Gerald Conley and served by Miss Christine Patterson and Miss Mary Gallegher.
The bride was graduated from Caribou High School and is employed by the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company at Presque Isle.
The bridegroom was graduated from Washburn High School and Ricker College at Houlton. He is a member of the faculty at Brownville Junction High School.
The couple, will reside in Brownville.
