GERALDINE L. RIDEOUT

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rideout of Washburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Miss Geraldine Louise Rideout, to Lieut. Dan Carroll Newton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel David Newton, Jr., of Shelbyville, Ky.

Miss Rideout is a graduate of Washburn High School and is employed at Sears, Roebuck and Company in Presque Isle.

Lieut. Newton is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He is now serving with the Presque Isle Air Force Base.

A July wedding is planned.
