The Rev. Robert Harris, uncle of the bride, Lansdale, Pa. performed the double ring ceremony.
The traditional wedding marches were played by Margaret Harris, aunt of the bride. Merle Deeves sang "Together" and Lois Burden sang "Savior Like a Shepherd, Lead Us".
The matron of honor was Mrs. Willa Ivie and the bridesmaids were Miss Christine Nickerson and Miss Mora Nickerson. Miss Rachel Nickerson was flower girl. All are sisters of the bride.
Morris Ivie, brother-in-law of the bride was best man.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white nylon and lace over taffeta. Her full skirt was accented with a bustle back and her fingertip veil of bridal illusion fell from a tiara
trimmed with lace and sequins. She carried a bouquet of white poms attached to a white Bible with white streamers.
The couple left for Eugene, Ore., where they will reside. The bride traveled in a powder blue suit, trimmed with brown fur with tan accessories.
The bride graduated from Washburn High School and has been employed by the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company of Presque Isle.
The bridegroom attended school in Harrisburg, Ore. He is a Navy veteran.
