Pamela Haines, Washburn, Wed In Baptist Rites

WASHBURN, Nov. 3 [1960] -- Miss Pamela Haines, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Haines, and Robert Learnard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Learnard, were united in marriage Tuesday evening at the Conservative Baptist Church in Washburn. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Oppy, pastor.

Miss Claudia Haines, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor and best man was David Tilley. Incidental music was played by Mrs. Wilmont Churchill at the piano and soloist was Miss Esther Wells of Presque Isle who sang, "Because."

The bride wore a beige street length street dress with three-quarter length sleeves with high neck line. Her accessories were avocado green and her corsage was of baby roses.

Miss Haines wore a brown print street length dress with brown accessories and her corsage was of yellow and brown variegated mums.

The bridal party gathered at the home of the bridegroom following the ceremony for refreshments, including a bride's cake.

The couple has purchased a trailer and will reside on Canaan Avenue.
