Diane Plissey, M. C. St, John Exchange Vows

FORT KENT - Miss Diane Plissey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Plissey of Washburn, and Michael C. St. John, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis St. John of Fort Kent exchanged wedding vows at St. Louis Church, here, Saturday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Amadee Proulx officiated at the double ring ritual.

The bride, escorted by her father, was attired in a bouffant wedding gown of Chantilly lace over bridal satin, designed with Sabrina neckline and long, tapered sleeves. She carried a puff bouquet of pompons tied with white streamers.

Her sister, Miss Prudy Plissey, attended her as maid of honor, wearing a green net dress over satin, and a flowered tiara. She carried a cascade of yellow poms.

Ralph St. John was best man for his brother.

A wedding luncheon was served at the Silver Star, Clair, N. B., where there were wedding bells and candles as decoration. The bridegroom's sister, Miss Sylvia St. John, circulated the guest book.

The couple left by car for a wedding trip, the bride wearing a gold sheath dress and matching accessories.

The couple is at home at 360 Main Street, Van Buren, where the bridegroom teaches school.

The bride graduated from Washburn High School in 1961 and attended Fort Kent Teachers' College.

The bridegroom graduated in 1959 from Fort Kent Community High School and received a B. S. degree from Fort Kent Teachers' College in 1963.
