Augusta Bridal Pair To Reside At Littleton

AUGUSTA - The wedding of Miss Cynthia Elizabeth Lewin, daughter OF Col. and Mrs. Theodore E. Lewin of Riverside Drive, and Richard Parker Hennessey, son of Maj. and Mrs. Parker F. Hennessey of Leighton Road, was solemnized Saturday at the Penney Memorial United Baptist Church, here. The Rev. Ross E. Hinshaw of the Church of Christ officiated.

The bride wore white lace over satin, the gown designed in street length with square neckline and long sleeves. A petal cap trimmed with seed pearls held her bouffant veil. She carried a white Testament topped with cymbidium orchids lilies of the valley and stphianatis.

Bridal attendants were Miss Brenda Foster maid of honor, Mrs. Charles Buck of Hallowell and Mrs. William Williams of Augusta. The color motif of their gowns and flowers was based on honey dew green and lemon yellow.

Best man was William Williams of Augusta, while the ushers were David Cole of Portland and Albert Nichols of Augusta.

The reception was held at the Augusta House.

Following a wedding trip to Boston and New York City, the couple will be at home at Littleton.

The bride is a graduate of Cony High School and Leland Powers School of Radio, Television and Theatre, Boston. She is a former woman's program director for radio station WRDO.

After graduating from Cony High School the bridegroom attended Nasson College. He is a warden for the Maine Department for Inland Fish and Game.
