Miss Elizabeth Ann Jordan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl D. Jordan, became the bride of Kenneth Edwin VanDuff, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Edwin K. VanDuff of Allentown N.Y., Saturday evening at 7 o'clock at the Full Gospel Assembly. The Rev. Bernard R. Patton officiated at the double ring ceremony, assisted by the Rev. Edwin VanDuff.
The church was decorated with a white lattice-work archway with a green backgrounds, decorated with pink and white carnations. Irene Gray, sister of the bride, was pianist. Ruth Jordan, sister of the bride, sang "Together"; Larry Kitchen, cousin of the bride, sang, "Whither Thou Goest"; and a trio, Ruth Jordan and Phyllis Patton, sisters of the bride, and Wilmot Kierstead, sang "Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us."
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of Chantilly lace over satin. The fitted lace bodice was fashioned with a scalloped Sabrina neckline and long lace sleeves ending in points. The full skirt over a hoop was fashioned with a full length lace panel all around. The bride's elbow-length veil of silk illusion, was caught to a headpiece of pearls. She carried a bouquet centered with an orchid, on a white Bible.
The miniature bride, Sandra Gray, niece of the bride, wore a long lace dress, pearl headpiece, and finger-tip veil. She carried an orchid bouquet.
The miniature bridegroom was Richard Greene, cousin of the bride.
Miss Sarah Hill, maid of honor, wore a salmon colored street length dress of lace and netting. She carried a cascade of turquoise and white carnations. Her headdress was a matching lace veil, falling from a crown.
The bridesmaids were Marie Spencer and Phyllis Patton, sisters of the bride. They wore dresses identical to that of the maid of honor, only in turquoise color, with matching headpieces, Their flowers were yellow and gold carnations.
James VanDruff, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, Stanley Jordan, brother of the bride, and Albert VanDruf, cousin of the bridegroom, were ushers.
The flower girl, niece of the bride, wore a white street length dress with salmon cumberbund and matching headpiece. She carried rose petals.
Steven Budreau, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The brides mother wore a street length dress of blue flowered jersey and a corsage of pink carnations. The bridegroom's mother wore a street length suit of pink, with turquoise carnation corsage.
A reception was held at the United Baptist Church, which was decorated with pink and white streamers, carnations, and white wedding bells.
The wedding cake was made and served by Mrs. Vaughn Kingsbury, aunt of the bride. Miss Mary Wauryczuk of Argentina and Miss Dolores Kingsbury cousin of the bride, served punch. Lorraine Patton, Karen Patton, Maureen Jordan, Rhonda Greene, Venie Greene, Nancy Kingsbury, Kay Campbell, Edna Ames, and Florence Glidden helped with serving. Earla Budreau, sister of the bride circulated the guest book. Mra. Marian Jordan, a sister-in-law of the bride, and Electra Blodget assisted at the gift table.
The bride graduated from Presque Isle High School and Elim Bible Institute of Lima, N.Y.
The bridegroom graduated from Scio Central High School, Scio, N.Y., and Elim Bible Institute. For their wedding trip to New York City, the bride wore a white suit with pink accessories. Their home will be in Wellsville, N.Y.
Out of town guests included friends and relatives from Easton, Mars Hill, Caribou, Bangor, and Portland. Out of state guests included relatives of the bride and bridegroom from New York, Pennsylvania, and Argentina.
