WASHBURN -- The First Baptist Church of Washburn was the scene of the wedding Oct. 30, of Miss Linda Ann Humphey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milford Humphrey. She became the bride of Larry Warren Bragg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Bragg, all of Washburn.

The Rev. Donald MacKenzie officiated at the double ring ceremony. Beauty baskets of pink and white gladioli decorated the altar. Mrs. Llewellyn Jones played traditional wedding music and also accompanied Mrs. Robert Brown who sang "Because" and "I Love You Truly."

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white nylon net with chantilly lace. The bodice was styled with a scalloped neckline trimmed with sequins. The sleeves tapered to delicate points at the wrists. Four panels of lace decorated the bouffant skirt and her fingertip veil of net flared from a tiny crown of crystal and pearls. She carried a white prayer book with a spray of white carnations and baby pink roses.

Miss Pauline Carman was maid of honor. She wore a pink gown of nylon over taffeta with a lace jacket. Her headpiece was a crown set off with pearls and a short face veil.

Miss Coroniti wore yellow nylon over satin and Miss Bragg wore a gown and veil similar to that of the maid of of honor. All attendants carried colonial bouquets of pink and white carnations.

Carroll Bragg, cousin of the bridegroom served as best man and Thomas Humphrey, brother of the bride, ushered.

A reception was held at the Odd Fellows Hall in Caribou where pink and white streamers and wedding bells decorated the hall.

Miss Mildred Woods Caribou aunt of the bride, cut the cake after the traditional first slice was cut by the bride and bridegroom. Miss Mary Lou Coroniti, Caribou, circulated the guest book. Mrs. Maxine Dale, Caribou, and Mrs Delores Tarbox, Caribou, presided at the gift table. Mr. and Mrs. Emery Curtis, Caribou, uncle and aunt of the bride served punch.
