WASHBURN--Miss Jeannette Gregg of Washburn and Charles Haught of Pottstown, Pa., were united in marriage November 7 at 2 p. m. at the Calvary Tabernacle Assembly of God in Boyertown, Pa.
Miss Gregg is the daughter of Mrs. Bessie Gregg of Washburn and Yalesville, Conn., and the late Frank Gregg. Mr. Haught is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Haught of Pottstown. The church was decorated with baskets of white chrysanthemums and white gladioli.
The Rev. Ernest Drost of Boyertown, brother-in-law of the bride, performed the ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Donald Gregg of Worcester, Mass., wore a white satin brocade street length gown with an over jacket featuring a standup collar. She wore a white net veil attached to a white feather hat. Her corsage was of white chrysanthemums.
The bride's sister, Mrs. Louis Drost of Boyertown, was the maid of honor. She wore a pale blue brocade street length dress complemented with matching hat. She wore a corsage of rust and yellow chrysanthemums.
The Rev. Perley Hersey played the organ and accompanied Mrs. Eileen Sperrey of Meriden, Conn., sister of the bride, who sang "Because" and Mrs. Bernice Hersey of Gardner. Mass., who sang "Our Wedding Day."
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church hall. Mrs. Rebecca Ginn of Naugatuck, Conn., sister of the bride, cut the wedding cake following the traditional first slice ceremony by the couple. Serving the cake were Mrs. Eileen Sperrey of Meriden, Conn.. and Mrs. Norma Gregg of Washburn, sister-in-law of the bride. Mrs. Helen Valley of Yalesville, Conn., sister of the bridegroom, circulated the guest book. Attending the gift table were Mrs. Ola Gregg of Worcester. Mass. sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. Nancy Haberstroh, sister of the bride-groom.
For their wedding trip the bride chose a red double knit wool suit with black accessories. Mrs. Haught is a graduate of Washburn High School, Becker Junior College. Worcester, Mass.. and Zion Bible Institute, East Providence. R. I. She has been employed by the Presque Isle Housing Authority in Presque Isle for 15 years.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Salem High School, Salem, W. Va., and is employed by the Kawecki Chemical Company at Pottstown, Pa.
