WASHBURN -- Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cunningham of Washburn have, announced the engagement of their daughter, Wanita Janet, to Larry Douglas Hallowell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hallowell of Perham.
Miss Cunningham was graduated from Washburn High School in the class of 1961 and is a senior at Farmington State Teachers' College, majoring in home economics. She is a member of the Phi Nu Omega sorority.
Mr. Hallowell also is a graduate of Washburn High School, class of 1961, and is a senior at the University of Maine in the College of Education, majoring in mathematics.
A June wedding is being planned.
