Two Washburn Teachers Wed

Miss Myrna Elaine Flewelling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray A. Flewelling of Easton and David Matthews McGaffin, son of Mrs. Nellie McGaffin and the late James R. McGaffin; were united in marriage recently at Brewer.

Rev. Charles Dartnell performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride was attired in a street length dress of white brocade fashioned with a dome shaped skirt and matching accessories. Her corsage was of white shattered carnations.

Miss Gail Smith of Bangor was the maid of honor. She was attired in a pink mohair dress and matching accessories. Her corsage was of pink carnations.

Hugh S. McGaffin, Attleboro, Mass., brother of the bridegroom, was the best man.

The bride attended Easton schools and is a graduate of the University of Maine. She is a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, and the Dirigos. She is employed in Washburn as a teacher in the English department.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Maine Central Institute, Pittsfield and Springfield College, Springfield, Mass. He served three years in the U. S. Marine Corps. He is a teacher and coach at Washburn High School.
