WASHBURN - Miss Roberta Ann Bell of Bangor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bell Jr. bf Washburn, became the bride of David Nelson Felch of Bangor, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Nelson Felch, February 27 at 6 p.m. at the home of the bride's parents.
The Rev. Donald MacKenzie Pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore white suit of looped mohair which she had made. The suit featured a bell - shaped skirt and a jacket with Sabrina neck- line. Her shoulder length veil was attached to a pillbox head-piece adorned with pearls and she carried a Bible with blue carnations and streamers.
The maid of honor, Miss Donna Bell of Bangor, sister of the bride, wore a boucle dress with Sabrina neckline and pleated skirt. She carried a colonial bouquet of pastel carnations. Best man was Charles Silsby of Bangor.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Crouseville Mission Building.
Besides members of the Crouseville Evening Circle, persona assisting with the reception included Mrs. Kay Corey, Miss Joyce Blanchard of Bangor, Mrs. Pearl Hacker of Woodland, Mrs. Joyce Doody, Mrs. Nancy Todd of Caribou; Mrs. Caroline Bell and Miss Cynthia Bell, sister-in-law and sister of the bride, respectively.
The bride is a graduate of Washburn High School and the Eastern Maine General Hospital School of Nursing in 1963.
She is employed as a nurse for Dr. John E. Whitworth in Bangor. The bridegroom is a graduate of Bangor High School and attended Husson College in Bangor. He is employed at Sampson's Store, Bangor.
The couple will make their home at Broadway Street, Bangor.
